Clean Beaches Project for Pier Watershed
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Owner: City of Santa Monica
Description: The project is in one of the busiest beaches in Southern California and required an extensive public outreach program including detouring pedestrian traffic between the adjacent parking lot to the Santa Monica Pier and adjoining beach. This project is located 900’ from the Pacific Ocean and required excavating to 30’ below ground surface to construct a permanent storm water capture structure.

Dewatering underdrains below the reservoir - Electrical equipment modifications
- Instrumentation and controls
- Traffic control
- Planting and irrigation support for the stormwater and runoff capture system
- All other incidental work necessary to construct the project
