James Dang

Project Director

James Dang brings over 12 years of heavy civil construction experience in the federal and public works sectors. He joined Reyes Construction, Inc. in 2015 as a Project Engineer assisting with the day-today duties to support field operations. Since joining Reyes, James has also increased his responsibilities and involvement in other operational aspects of the Company, including participation in the inaugural Operations Committee. He was promoted to Project Manager in 2016 and Project Director in 2022. As Project Director, James currently provides leadership during project delivery and actively participates in partnering with project clients.

Prior to joining Reyes Construction, James worked as an Engineer and Superintendent at Kiewit Infrastructure, Southern California on new railroad construction and underground utilities work. He also worked at Spiniello Companies, Inc. as a Project Engineer supporting the slip-lining and cement mortar-lining utility rehabilitation contracts. At Reyes Construction, he has managed a variety of heavy civil construction projects, including training and munitions facilities for the U.S military, railroad and trackwork improvements, underground wet utilities, and roadway surfacing improvements.

James graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and was a member of the Cal Poly Pomona Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society.
